Meet Rob Mulder

Rob Mulder is the founder of Robert’s Composites, a North Vancouver-based company that has been designing, shaping, building, and repairing high-performance composite products since 1984. A pioneer in board design and carbon fibre construction, Rob has spent more than four decades pushing the boundaries of windsurfing and wing foiling equipment while developing many of the technologies that have become industry standards.

As both a craftsman and lifelong foiler, Rob brings a wealth of hands-on experience in board shaping, foil setup, carbon fibre repair, and equipment tuning. During the Alta Lake Foil Day clinics, he’ll share practical tips and techniques to help participants keep their gear performing at its best—whether you’re repairing damage, optimizing your setup, or looking to better understand how your equipment works.
