
How to Prepare
for your
Sailing & Foiling
Program
Please bring the
following items:
- Lunch, water and snacks. There is no food available on site.
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Towel
- Dry change of clothes
- Old sneakers or water shoes. Shoes must be closed toe and heel. Flip flops are not allowed!
- Bathing Suit
- Clothes appropriate for the weather of the day. Outdoor classrooms are often used
- Wind breaker or waterproof jacket
- Helmet and life jacket (provided by WSA if you do not have your own)

Required equipment
At Whistler Sailing, all participants are required to wear a helmet and life jacket at all times. WSA provides this equipment, however participants are welcome to bring their own if they prefer. Please note that helmets will get wet during sailing activities.
Please submit the below before your first day of camp:
- Waiver – please ensure you have completed the waiver online before going onto the water with us. We do have paper copies in the office as a backup.
- Child Release Permission Form – if your child will be leaving with another adult or by bicycle, we require this form filled out. Please submit it onsite on day 1 of camp.
Where to meet:
- Kids and Youth Summer camps start at 9am and finish at 3:30pm.
- Drop off and pick up is at the Whistler Sailing location, 5678 Alta Lake Road. The entrance to the facility is the staircase in the South East corner of the parking lot and across the train tracks.
