Alta Lake, Whistler BC
The inaugural Women’s Wing Foil Camp brought together a fantastic group of women for two days of coaching, learning, and connection on Alta Lake.
Led by Sandra Bicego, participants focused on the skills and techniques needed to progress toward foiling, including wing control, board speed, positioning, and on-water strategy. Each day also began with guided stretch sessions led by Astrid Kent, helping everyone prepare for time on the water.

Coached by: Sandra Bicego
With decades of wind in her sails and an infectious passion for the water, Sandra has been chasing wind sports since the 1980s—starting with windsurfing and teaching kids in the Columbia River Gorge before discovering kitesurfing in 1999, and quickly turning that love into a lifelong passion and part-time teaching.
In 2020, she embraced wing foiling and found a whole new sense of freedom—one that lit her up so much she went on to coach a season in Los Barriles, Baja, and has since become a dedicated instructor at the Whistler Sailing Club.
Sandra brings contagious energy to every session, creating a fun, supportive space where women can step beyond their comfort zones, build real skills, and feel strong, capable, and unstoppable—because that moment when you lift onto foil and fly, changes everything!
