At Whistler Sailing, it’s always been about the people. That spirit was fully alive this past weekend, as our instructor team came together for a dynamic two-day training session to launch the 2025 summer season.
Instructor training is a highlight on the WSA calendar, when new and returning team members gather to share knowledge, forge connections, and reignite the energy that drives our programs.
This year, we were thrilled to welcome enthusiastic new coaches and reconnect with seasoned team members, all united by a shared commitment to fun, safety, and excellence on Alta Lake.
What sets WSA apart is the unique journey many of our coaches take: beginning as young sailors in Wet Feet, volunteering as teens, and growing into confident instructors and leaders. Seeing that full-circle progression in action this weekend was a proud moment for our entire community.
We can’t wait for you to meet the incredible team guiding our youth and adult programs this summer! Head over to whistlersailing.com/team to get to know your coaches, and gear up for another unforgettable season on the water!
