Thank you for another fantastic summer of camps!

As the sails come down and the docks quiet after another busy season, Whistler Sailing Association is reflecting on an incredible summer of youth camps on Alta Lake.

All summer long, kids aged 5–13 joined us to learn the basics of sailing in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Guided by our dedicated instructors, campers discovered everything from rigging and water safety to the thrill of catching their first gust of wind across the lake.

Since 2008, WSA’s mission has been to provide affordable learn-to-sail opportunities for local kids and youth. This summer, that mission came to life once again through laughter, teamwork, and the confidence that grows when young sailors take the helm for the first time.

A huge thank you to every family who joined us this summer. Your support helps keep sailing accessible in our community and ensures that the next generation can experience the joy of wind, water, and Whistler’s unique mountain-lake setting.

While our camps have wrapped for the season, the adventure doesn’t stop here - fall programs and adult courses are just around the corner.

Until next summer, we’ll see you on the water!
